Adhesion promoters and primers substantially benefit a bond’s strength and performance. 

Highly recommended when using tapes they also benefit when bonding with epoxies and adhesives as well. Can be used to promote adhesion to almost any material including polypropylene, polyethylene, PET, PBT, ABS, metals, painted metals, glass, concrete, and wood.

Adhesion promoters become especially important when different variables will be affecting the bond such as odd contours and shapes, vibration or stress, extreme temperatures, and when chemical or natural resistance is necessary.

4298UV Adhesion Promoter is used for most low surface energy plastics commonly found in the automotive industry.

Plastics such as polypropylene, polycarbonate, polycarbonate blends, and thermoplastics all respond very well to bonding when primed with 4298. Especially effective when used with acrylic tapes.

Primer 94 is an industrial primer used to promote adhesion to a variety of substrates including many plastics and rubbers, metals, glass, concrete, wood, and painted surfaces.
